Is anybody out there?

I'm a sad Westie tonight!  The other night.. when my Mama was trying to coax me off of my chair to to out for a walk.. ...

I seriously DO NOT know what happened to me!

I've been thinking about this for a few days now.. and I'm not sure how to tell you all about it???

I AM a good boy!

Both my Mama and I are trying to figure out .. "What happened?"

I'm still to ashamed to tell you what happened.. just cause!

  1. Hello Logan, I am so sad to hear that you are sad. I don't you to feel sad, but mostly I don't want you to feel ashamed. You have had a difficult life and you have come so far and you are doing so well. You will take 3 steps forward and now and then a step or two back, but that's ok. I am sure that your mom loves you no matter what. My mom always tells people that dogs act in the moment. Whatever you did was something at that very moment triggered you to respond as you did. She also tells me that dogs just want to please their loving moms and dads. Please don't be sad. She also tells me that your mommy should live in the moment too. Please don't be ashamed. And if you mommy needs help to help you, there are people to help her and she shouldn't enable your pass, it makes you fearful and weak. I love you Logan. Keep up the good work because you are great! love you, your friend, Zoey

  2. I spoke with my mommy and she said you should tell your mommy if she would like to speak to my mommy, she may be able to help you and your mommy understand why and what happened. If she decides to,let me know and our mommy's will somehow connect. Remember Logan, we all love you. You are a wonderful boy. Zoey

  3. Poor sweet Logan! I dare say it sounds as if Zoey knows what she is talking about :) I can only imagine how hard it is for you to trust unconditionally that you are safe now. Always. We are all rooting for you!! Don't be ashamed sweet pup <3

  4. We had a Westie, who we loved more than you can imagine who would do a "bad" thing from time to time... we're not sure why either. I think it has to do the with the whole "pack leader" thing. And there were certain things we could not do... we couldn't touch him while he slept, so we snapped our fingers and woke him up and asked him to move (which he would do) and we could not grab him if he went under the bed... the good outweighed the bad, that's all I can say about our little guy.

  6. Logan, tell your (wonderful) foster mom that my mom has sent her an email, just in case in goes into junk mail. Love you, your pal Zoey.

  7. You have a lot of friends out there, Logan. We hope you can work out your problems. Remember that your momma is your pack leader- not you!

Benson and Snowy, two more Westies like you!

  8. Oh, Logan -- don't worry. Your mom still loves you and she understands. I used to not be afraid to walk to the elevator from my home, but now am. If we were humans, they would say we have post traumatic stress disorder. Sometimes we just can't help it and we slip a little, but we still get beter and better with each day.
    Love, Meg

  9. It's ok Logan. Sometimes it doesn't take more then a tiny movement to trigger a flashback and make us react in the moment. I'm really sure your foster mom knows that. She loves you no matter what and she will keep you on the right track to healing. We love you sweet Logan!
